Course Description: Our course is laid out on a wooded bank, the wood is a mature planted area (previously 2 fields) with a broad variety of shots - uphill, downhill, across (level), across (sloping) and diagonally up and down
Course Suitability: We consider our course suitable for all abilities - we have hosted days for; archers at the end of a (ArcheryGB ) Beginners course; Novice; Intermediate and Experienced
Course Access: Access to the course is a 500 metre walk round an intervening field - relatively flat and following an established path, although it is currently very muddy. The slope is quite steep in places particularly where shots are straight up or down the slope. By and large the shooting lanes and interconnecting paths are well established, relatively well drained, although a couple of the targets at the bottom of the slope can be quite wet. We cannot accommodate persons using walking aids.
Car Parking: We have Car Parking facilities for 20+ vehicles on a hardstanding, easily accessible directly from the A44. This is some 500 metres from the shooting ground
Toilet Facilities: There is a permanent portaloo at our car parking area, on organised shoot days we also provide a portable toilet at the course
Visiting Archers: By arrangement we will accept Visitors, the Visitor Fee is currently £5, they must be affiliated to an appropriate governing body. We also host Clubs, either as a visiting group or holding their Field Championship, the Visitor Fee is by negotiation - historically at our previous venue we hosted ArcheryGB County Championships. We have reached out to the County Associations of Worcester and Warwick
Catering: Tea and Coffee with light refreshments are provided for archers on days when we host - currently there is no charge
