And the winner is…..
A huge congratulations to White Mark Bowmen for winning this years ‘club of the year’ trophy by 5 points, scoring 312. Kings Forest Bowmen came a very close second, with Black Eagle Bowmen placing third.
I has been lovely to see some clubs really getting involved this year, carefully picking teams, finding out how club members had shot and discussing who should be in each category. A big thanks to everyone who has got on board with it this year.
As you can see from results, the number of competitors plays a big part on final position, with Panther Bowhunters leading the next group of teams with only 9 competitive archers and achieving 146 points. Special mention goes to teams who have made significant improvements since 2015, which include Black Sheep Archers and Oakleaf Bowmen both moving up 6 places and Marraway moving up 9 places.
I look forward to an even more competitive year in 2017. To enter, your club simply needs to fill in a team sheet after any national tournament with your names and scores. No cost involved!

The EFAA Club of the Year is a combination of team scores from each national tournament of the year. At each tournament, each club will nominate their best archers in each category. We then calculate a leader board based on the team of nations style competition from international events.
Nominate your team at the end of each tournament, try to put a person in each category, no one can appear more than once. Check the possible styles for each category.
You get points for the score and position compared to the rest of the category. The more people you enter, the more points you get. You can have a different team at every event!
It’s a great trophy for the clubhouse!!
