If you haven't already heard, the WFAA will be hosting the IFAA European Field Archery Championships (EFAC) at Tal-y-Coed, near Abergavenny from the 27th to 31st of July 2009. Wales has not hosted a major IFAA tournament since 1980 and we will ensure that next year's tournament will be one to remember!
For those of you who have not shot an EFAC before, the entry is open to all European archers provided they are members of an IFAA affiliated governing body. For Wales, this is WFAA, for England EFAA, for Scotland SFAA. If you are interested in shooting this tournament, you must ensure you are a member of your national governing body before registering for the tournament.
The EFAC will feature the following rounds:
2 x 28 target Hunter Round
2 x 28 target Field Round
1 x 28 target Marked Animal Round
The registration is now open for EFAC 2009. I have attached an entry form to this email which is for UK Sterling payments only. We can take payment via cheque or postal order. Please complete the form and post it to the address on the form with the appropriate payment.
The EFAC website will be launched in the next fortnight and it will include all details about the tournament. The website will also include online registration and alternative payment options such as credit/debit card and paypal should prefer any of these payment methods. Please note that payment via the online method will be in Euros.
One last thing to be aware of is that the price of registration increases as the tournament draws closer. Details of prices are on the registration form. The quicker you register, the less it will cost you!
Best Regards,
Mathew Symmonds
